Duo-Tec Tool & Machine is truly a leader in Wire EDM machining. We began using “wire cutting” manufacturing in the early 1980’s. Originally, we had just one manual Wire EDM Machine. Currently we have seven programmable, 5 axis Wire EDM Machining Centers in our temperature controlled facility.  Our specialized Wire EDM Machines are capable of holding tolerances of up to +/- .0002. Over the past thirty-five years, we have acquired a vast knowledge of the Wire EDM process; this allows us to confidently contribute to any type of project from a one piece component to large volume runs.

Wire EDM can be used on any metal that is electrically conductive even those that have been heat treated to the highest Rockwell. Materials such as Carbide, Tool Steels, Stainless Steel, Titanium and Inconel® can be fabricated or “cut” within the Wire EDM Machine; with a single strand of continually moving wire that is submerged in a tank of deionized water. We take your blueprint or Solid Model then develop a detailed computer program to efficiently produce your precision parts.
